A tarpon estimated to be between 60 and 80 pounds was attacked by a hammerhead shark estimate to be between 8 and 10 feet long; however, it was able to fight its way into the rocks and got away and was later set free after the shark was no longer around. The action took place near the rocks of Fort Zachary Taylor Historical State Park in Key West, Florida on April 3, 2015
