I took a picture of the Big Thunder Marine, 46-foot Skater catamaran that was equipped with four 1200 horsepower engines, after it crashed in Key West Harbor and floated to the finish area during the third race of the Key West World Powerboat Championship on November 9, 2011. After I got home I was shocked to learn the throttleman, Robert M. Morgan, and driver, Jeffrey Tillman, had died at the hospital from the injuries suffered in the accident. I am truly shocked and sadden by this news as I left the event thinking that no one was seriously injured in the crash. I was told that by a person listening to the live radio broadcast of the event.
