I met a man from Bellingham, Washington on Friday, July 22, 2011 in Key West. He was walking with a solar powered cart. It turns out that his name is Bruce Maynard and he calls his cart Sam. They started their journey in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and have walked together from there to San Diego, California to Jacksonville, Florida to Key West, Florida. The trip is entitled “Senior Walk Sam & Me Walking Peace Arch to Key West”. I took a picture of Bruce & Sam which is posted here.
